The service was excellent, food was great and not that expensive. Very clean with good facilities. The only issue was the smoking section is not partitioned off from the non smoking section so we had to put up with a lot of smoke drifting across our table. Not great, especially with children.

I went during what I thought was happy hour, sat at the bar to enjoy happy hour with my friend( as you need to be at the bar to get happy hour prices) ....only to be charged full price... Not realizing this... I sent a message, privately to TGI Friday's in Ueno....for my message to be read and ignored. I feel that I went there and had my money stolen, and when I asked about it.... My question was ignored.Good food, good drink...staff that steals...makes it pretty awful.

The food is out of this world and using high-quality ingredients. Service was very quick and efficient as well as many of the staff being bilingual. The prices are a little high but the portions given are enough to fill you up. They tend to have cocktail performances on busy nights and day times it's more relaxed. If you visit when they're full they always give you a discount coupon which is very generous.

Very friendly staff, met my friends there for a drink while they ate dinner, language barrier was hard to get thru when trying to say i was meeting friends here but when I told the host "2 Americans" she laughed, she was able to lead me to them right away! A tad more expensive then if I was getting at the same place in the US but the service was 10x better than expected. They had us seating in the non smoke area!

I came to this specific venue with a particularly large group, so large that we actually had to take up two whole family tables. I didn't pay for it, the company that had us did, so I can't really comment on price but service was delightful. The staff in particular asked us about our plans and such, some information was actually very useful. For a large group that came in the spur of the moment, we didn't sit in our seats starving and waiting for what felt like forever. Instead it came out accordingly at an appropriate waiting time. For moments I actually forgot I was in Japan, the food really felt like home. 5 stars.

Friendly staff, who can mostly speak English.English menu.Great range of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Has tables, and a no-smoking section, or you can sit at the bar, and watch sports on the screens.Really good range of western style food.From burgers, to spare ribs, steak, or pasta, and fantastic salads.Almost opposite Keisei- Ueno Station.Family friendly, but also a great place for adults.

The burgers were overcooked and not particularly good. Service took forever - more than 15 minutes for a beer to arrive at the table.The prices might not seem very high to foreign tourists, but this place is very overpriced for what you are getting.For the same price, you can get much better meals around Ueno.

Everything you would expect from TGIF around the world. But don't think you'll get out of paying a steep service charge!! After paying exhorbant prices, you get another 20 percent tacked on to your bill!!! Birthdays are no longer free either, you pay normal price and get a poloroid And some songs.
